ISGE Announces New Board Members Elected at 40th Anniversary Congress in Rome

The International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology (ISGE) has announced its newly elected board members following elections held during the ISGE 40th Anniversary Congress in Rome, Italy, from March 4–6, 2026, at the La Nuvola Convention Center. The milestone Congress brought together leading experts from around the world to celebrate four decades of progress and to define the Society’s future leadership.

The newly elected Executive Board is composed of Tommaso Simoncini (Italy), President; Antonio Cano (Spain), Secretary General; Martin Birkhaeuser (Switzerland), Treasurer; Andrea Genazzani (Italy), Executive Director; and Peter Chedraui (Ecuador), Editor-in-Chief of Gynecological Endocrinology.

The Executive Committee includes an internationally diverse group of distinguished specialists: Leila Adamyan (Russia), Sarah Berga (United States), Mark Brincat (Malta), Roberta Brinton (United States), Žana Bumbulienė (Lithuania), Cuauhtemoc Celis (Mexico), Nilson Roberto De Melo (Brazil), Steven R. Goldstein (United States), Anne Gompel (France), Angelica Linden Hirschberg (Sweden), Anne-Beatrice Kihara (Kenya), Shantha Kumari (India), Irene Lambrinoudaki (Greece), Eileen Manalo (Philippines), Blazej Meczekalski (Poland), Rossella Nappi (Italy), Nicola Pluchino (Switzerland), Xiangyan Ruan (China), Petra Stute (Switzerland), Basil Tarlatzis (Greece), and Svetlana Vujovic (Serbia).

These appointments reflect ISGE’s continued commitment to international collaboration and scientific excellence. As the Society enters its fifth decade, the newly elected leadership will play a key role in advancing research, education, and clinical practice in gynecological endocrinology worldwide.
